Misssion
JGRI’s, a 501(c) 3 charity, mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for giant breed dogs in need. We believe that all dogs deserve a second chance, regardless of their circumstance. We rescue dogs from various situations, including owner surrenders and local shelters. Our goal is to help as many dogs as possible, using the resources available to us.
Once a dog is rescued, they are placed in foster homes where they become temporary family members. This allows them to receive the love, care, and attention they deserve while they await their forever homes. Each dog undergoes a thorough vet check, including vaccinations, spaying/ neutering, and protection against heartworm, f leas, and ticks. Furthermore, their temperament is assessed through a careful evaluation process to ensure suitability for adoption.
Finding the perfect match is important to us. We strive to match each dog with the most suitable adoptive home. Potential adopters are required to f ill out an application and undergo a home check to ensure a safe and secure environment for our dogs. We believe in finding the right fit for both the dog and the adopter to ensure a successful and lasting adoption.
At JGRI, our goal is to create happy endings and provide a better life for giant breed dogs. We are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing these majestic dogs, giving them the opportunity to experience love and happiness in their forever homes.
